Single Review: “Four Five Seconds” by Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney

Rihanna’s new single features Kanye West on vocals and Paul McCartney at his lowest moment on guitar. Surprisingly (or not) West’s vocals are superior to Rihanna’s. The song, titled “Four Five Seconds,” shouldn’t last any longer than that. The first four or five seconds are blood-curtling due to Rihanna’s raw, unrestrained yet strained “vocals” that would be unacceptable from any other serious vocalist. The song itself might be better if sung by someone else, but not much. However, go take a listen and decide for yourself…
